Pay Band in BSF?
It is the range of salary that is given per month. When you join in BSF, your salary is based on the lowest level, as your service period increases, pay band increases every year and to the next level.
It is the amount paid to the employees without adding or cutting any allowances or bonus or overtime. Pay scale is given when a person joins in BSF on which the starting salary is calculated. It increases every year. Basic pay is nothing but the sum of grade pay and the pay band.
Grade pay of the soldier is decided on the basis of his rank. The government has divided the number of employees into various categories.
