Indian Coast Guard recruitment 2018: Apply for Asst Commandant posts

The Indian Coast Guard has opened their online application for the openings of the Assistant Commandant post. Qualified peoples can apply for the Group A Gazetted officer post on their official website of the Coastguard at www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in.

The Online application will be started from November 18, 2018 and the last date will be November 30 2018 to fill the online application. Eligible candidates will be listed from December 09, 2018 onwards.

Steps to apply:

To apply the form, need to login to the official website and click on ‘opportunities’ option on www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in.

The candidate needs to choose any one post to be applied from the list:

(aa) Asst. Commandant General Duty (male).

(Stomach muscle) Asst. Commandant General Duty (SSA, ladies).

(Air conditioning) Asst. Commandant Commercial Pilot License (CPL) (SSA) both male and female can apply.

(Air conditioning) Asst. Commandant (Law) both male and female can apply.

Selection process:

Level – 1

1) Short listing of candidate’s Applications: The short listing criteria will be from a higher percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and the qualifying cut off for a specific branch, more than 60 percent if more applications with higher percent.

2) Preliminary Selection: The shortlisted peoples will be called for the selection at the given date and time which will be Mental Ability Test/Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test.

Level – 2

Last Selection: The candidates who are qualified from the level 1 will be called for the final round and it will be group task, Psychological Test and final round interview.
