The application will start from April 5, 2019 at 5pm and end on April 7, 2019. For more information the candidates can visit the official page of ssc.nic.in and the payments will be done through this website. And the application form can be downloaded through this website.
There are two exams for the candidates. The tier-1 exam, that is computer based and will commence from June 1, 2019 to June 26, 2019. The tier-2 exam, that is descriptive and will commence from September 29, 2019.
The vacancy details will be soon released on the official website. The candidates who are selected will be posted in lower division clerk (LDC), junior secretariat assistant (JSA), postal assistant or sorting assistant, data entry operator (DEO), data entry operator grade A.
Eligibility for SSC CHSL 2019
Age: 18 years to 27 years on August 1, 2019. Reserved category candidates have the upper age limit relaxation.
Education: candidates must have passed out their class 12 exam. Especially for the post of DEO and in CandAG, candidates must have passed out 12 from Science background.
Vacancy: the commission has not yet notified in number of vacancies. The detailed information about vacancy will be officially released in their website soon.
Exam pattern for SSC CHSL 2019
Dates of computer based examination (tier-1): 1-7-2019 to 26-7-2019
I. English language (Basic knowledge)
II. General intelligence
III. Quantitative Aptitude(Basic Arithmetic Skill)
IV. General Awareness
Number of questions – 25
Number of maximum marks – 50
Time duration (for all four parts) – 60 minutes (80 minutes for candidates eligible for scribes as per para 8.1 and 8.2)
Salary for the post.
For the post of LDC and JSA, the pay scale would be Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 + grade pay Rs.1900.
For PA and SA, the pay scale would be Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 +grade pay Rs.2400.
Those hired at the post of DEO will be paid from Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 + grade pay Rs.2400.
